If anyone knows how to run a business it’s Mervyn Hill from the TT merchandise shop on Queens Promenade in Douglas. 

It is quite ironic that years before he bought the shop Mervyn had arrived on the Isle of Man at 5 am on a race day and made his way along the prom to eat breakfast upstairs on the balcony of what was known as the Swiss Café only to be the owner of the same building 20 years later.

Meeting many TT enthusiasts and their interests in bikes and the Isle of Man gave Mervyn the idea of supplying TT  t shirts and other items of clothing. Mervyn has now had a successful business for 34 years from running a shop in the main street in Douglas town centre to his much larger premises on Queens prom where there is a wide selection of TT official clothing and headwear, TT gifts and Isle of Man gifts. 

All items can be viewed on the official  TT  merchandise website https://www.ttshirts.com The business had had grown so well that Mervyn opened a new shop on the 1^stApril 2010 at the bottom of Church Road, this shop has recently been refurbished and has wheelchair accessibility.  A warm welcome awaits to anyone who visits either of the premises and  for the convenience to shoppers both shops are open 7 days per week and free delivery on orders over £9.00.
